Pastels, Colored Pencil, Acrylic and Oils with
Jill Strohpaul: This is a Studio Class. Join in at
anytime. Jill will work with you on either of the media listed above
and on any project already started. Are you needing someone to give you
help or instruction on improving your work? This is the class for
you. Just starting a project from a favorite picture or photo? Bring it
in and Jill will help you with your technique. If you miss a class,
make-ups are accepted.

WOW them with Watercolors with Janie Johnson:
2 Day Workshop
Saturday, March 13th and Sunday, March 14th
10:00AM-4:00PM both days
This course will accommodate both beginning and continuing students in watercolor. Each class will begin with a demonstration by the artist focusing on a variety of watercolor techniques. Students will then work using photographs or other visual aids. Emphasis will be on achieving bold watercolors using fewer strokes. We will explore color mixing, perspective, composition, values, and principles and elements of design.
Bring a lunch, we’ll take a break during the session but continue to hang out and discuss the morning lesson.
Bring reference photos and a passion for painting!

For Beginning and Intermediate Painters

Class fee: 50.00 (Supply list will be furnished and supplies available in the Art Supply Shop at ArtExposure)
Course description: This workshop is designed for beginning and intermediate painters. Included will be basic tools and techniques of oil painting plus a focus on values, color theory, and mixing oil paints using the three primary colors and white. The instructor will provide demonstrations and group and individual instruction on these art concepts as well as creating three dimensional shapes, shadows, values, texture, composition, and depth in the picture plane.
Altered Art: Paperdolls
Join Maggie Hughes for a fun class making a creative, one of a kind doll. All parts and materials will be provided.
Please bring the following supplies: small scissors (manicure scissors work well).
Not required but bring if you wish: fabric, paper, lace, beads, old jewelry, memorabilia, and the like.
Class fee: 40.00 (includes the kit)
Additional kits are available for 15.00 each.
