Bernie is a native NC oil painter who is, what he calls, "self-motivated to be taught." He loves to paint plain air, and his painterly approach to color, tone, and texture adds to his uniques sense of style, ranging from atonalism and impressionism, to contemporary.  Bernie's paintings often evoke feelings of peace, serenity and nostalgia.
